Technical information about this website’s accessibility

Technology Connected is committed to making its website accessible, in accordance with the Public Sector Bodies (Websites and Mobile Applications) (No. 2) Accessibility Regulations 2018.

This website is partially compliant with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.1 AA standard, due to the non-compliances listed below.

Issues with text

Some heading elements may not be in a sequentially-descending order.

Some elements may not meet the required contrast ratio. An example of this  text over background images which can be found on the Upcoming Events section on the home page.

Issues with images, video and audio

Some pages contain images without alt tags and/or relevant aria-label information. For example the text image blocks on the home page and the hero banner image at the top of internal pages like About us. The aim is to fix this ASAP when the website is next worked on.

Issues with interactive elements and transactions

Some ARIA menus do not contain required menu items. For example the homepage hero carousel slider that sits at the top of the page. This issue sits with the creator of the JavaScript library used to build the carousel slider.
