First Headline Speaker Announced

The countdown to Wales Tech Week is officially on, as we unveil our first keynote speaker for this year’s event.

We’re excited to announce Ciaran Martin CB, founder of GCHQ’s National Cyber Security Centre and NATO advisor joins Wales Tech Week 2021, as the keynote speaker for our Cyber day, taking place on the 24th June 2021.

Ciaran founded the UK’s world leading National Cyber Security Centre and headed it for the first four years of its existence, defending the UK from more than 2,000 nationally significant cyber-attacks against the UK, including the ‘Wannacry’ attack against the NHS in 2017.

Ciaran also holds the position of Professor of Practice in the Management of Public Organisations at Oxford University’s Blavatnik School of Government and advises NATO on cyber security strategies.

We’re delighted to welcome Ciaran to the festival as our first keynote speaker. Be sure to secure your digital pass today for what will be a can’t miss talk from one of the world’s leading experts in cybersecurity.
