Welsh Expertise to Challenge Audio Industry Heavyweights
Powys-based Davlec is making waves in the global hi-fi industry by challenging some of the world’s largest manufacturing giants. Davlec (est. 1983) has been appointed by new audio tech start-up, Fell Audio, to bring the Cumbrian newcomer’s audio systems to life, showcasing the power and innovation of Welsh expertise.
Fell Audio is a new family-owned start-up rooted in the British retail giant Peter Tyson, a business boasting over half a century of audio expertise, a world-class website, and premium experiential stores in Carlisle (HQ), Newcastle, and Workington.
With decades of experience in crafting high-performance hi-fi, Davlec has been selected as the manufacturing partner to bring Fell Audio’s products to life, ahead of the launch on 11 November. UK manufacturing distinguishes Fell Audio from similarly priced—and often more expensive—competitors, providing a significant edge in quality, sustainability, and repairability over mainstream, far-eastern-produced alternatives. By offering British-made products at entry-level prices, Fell Audio presents a unique and compelling choice for music lovers everywhere.
Commenting on Davlec’s appointment by Fell Audio, Nia Davies Davlec’s Managing Director, who is also a valued member of the Technology Connected Board, and Technology Leadership Council, said:
‘This has been a fascinating and rewarding project to work on with the team at Fell Audio. Combining their breadth of knowledge around the Hi-Fi industry with our own skills in producing high quality great value electronics has created a product we are all incredibly proud of. ’
